Senior Technical Accounting Analyst
Northwest burbs | Hybrid – 3 days in-office | $120K base + 10% bonus target

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review audited financial statements and supporting documentation

Act as a key point of contact during external audits; draft memos and respond to technical questions

Manage stock compensation accounting and ensure compliance with GAAP

Support purchase accounting activities during M&A transactions, including consolidation and working capital adjustments

Reconcile and process intercompany financing transactions, including loans and deferred taxes

Assist in month-end close procedures with focus on ASC 606 (Revenue) and ASC 842 (Leases)

Participate in ERP system configuration and data migration to ensure accounting accuracy

Interpret and implement new accounting standards and internal policies
Ideal Profile

CPA required
-
3+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Strong technical accounting and audit background

Comfortable managing competing priorities in a high-growth, PE-backed company

Experience with purchase accounting or M&A is preferred but not required

Excellent communication and analytical skills
