Compensation: $200k to $250k with bonus and equity

The Role
The Director of Finance will serve as a key member of the executive team, partnering directly with the CEO to lead financial operations, strategy, and infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on leader ready to scale a fast-growing organization, manage capital effectively, and guide the company toward a successful exit.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with growth and exit goals

Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and financial planning

Build and oversee financial reporting tools, dashboards, and performance monitoring systems

Establish accounting policies, internal controls, and global compliance processes

Support capital raising efforts and deliver investor-ready financials

Prepare the company for IPO or M&A, including due diligence and audit readiness

Recruit and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team

Manage global financial operations, including cross-border tax, treasury, and risk
Ideal Candidate Profile

Senior finance professional with leadership experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial companies

Proven success supporting IPO or M&A transactions

Strong background in FP&A, strategic finance, and capital structure

Familiarity with global operations, DTC/ecommerce, or consumer product businesses

Track record of building finance teams and systems from the ground up

Confident communicator and strategic thought partner to the CEO

MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced credentials preferred
