Compensation:  $80,000 to $100,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-End & Year-End Magic: Assist with month-end and year-end closes, perform variance-to-budget analysis, and provide key reports for decision-making.
  • Data Cruncher Extraordinaire: Analyze financial performance, track billing, and offer insightful data to guide business decisions.
  • Audit Rockstar: Prepare schedules and documentation for external auditors and tax preparers.
  • Billing & Revenue Guru: Maintain and track billing through the system, ensuring timely revenue.
  • Bank Reconciler: Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial records balance smoothly.
  • Inventory Watchdog: Collaborate with internal teams to verify and maintain proper inventory controls.
  • Receivables Tracker: Keep a sharp eye on outstanding receivables and alert management to potential issues.
  • Backup Hero: Serve as a backup for fixed asset and lease accounting.
  • Budgeting Buddy: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, providing crucial data to support planning efforts.

 

What they need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. CPA or CPA candidate is a plus!
  • 2+ years in general accounting and financial analytics.
  • Bonus points for experience in public accounting- Audit or Tax!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is your best friend)
  • Experience with Tableau or other reporting software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
