What You'll Do:
As a Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting in our financial systems. Your responsibilities will span accounts receivable, subcontract management, accounts payable, and month-end tasks, fostering collaboration with management and project teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate precise billing and cost control reports for projects.
- Analyze actual costs versus budgets and review selling rates to uphold data integrity.
- Collaborate with project managers to produce essential project accounting data.
- Assist in supporting subconsultant contract management and project financial reconciliations.
- Provide audit support and contribute to project controls cost management functions as needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, numerical accuracy, and familiarity with financial software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration aptitude, and time management capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively on financial matters to diverse audiences.
- Prior experience in the AEC Industry is advantageous.
