Tax Manager

Are you an experienced tax professional looking to elevate your career? Look no further than our client, seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team.  As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional tax preparation and compliance services to businesses and individuals.

Location:  Downers Grove

Compensation:  $100,000 to $130,000 plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• 1040’s, 1120, 1120s, 1055 partnerships, and 1041 trust.
• Lead and manage the tax compliance process for a diverse range of clients, including businesses and individuals.
• Review and prepare complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to current tax laws and regulations.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients regarding tax planning, strategies, and compliance issues.
• Research tax laws and regulations to stay updated and effectively apply them to client situations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize clients' tax positions and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify tax planning opportunities and resolve complex tax issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
